Rick Washbrook is recognized as an eclectic guitarist of FingerStyle Country, Blues, Jazz, Flamenco and Roots music styles. Born and raised in California Van Nuys, and moved to Toronto Canada in 1971. He has been playing and performing professionally since the age of 20, for the last 46 years. He has played/toured in. Canada The Alaska Highway NorthWest Territories, Metro Toronto & Ontario. The Great Lakes, The Keys, Costa Rica, Switzerland Davos Platz, Tahitti, Florida and more.

He does not use a pick, yet has trained his index finger to work as one. He also uses the lute technique where the index finger and thumb alternate.
